When You Pray Ministries exists to equip intercessors to effectively repair breaches in the walls around their families, churches, communities, and nation.

Christy Campos answered God’s call to ministry in 2020, when the Lord began redirecting her career aspirations toward His eternal purposes. When she surrendered fully and said yes to following Jesus, a new journey of faith and ministry began. Since then, she has developed a deep passion for prayer, intimacy with Jesus, making disciples, preparing for Christ’s return, and reaching unreached people groups with the gospel.

Christy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University. Following graduation, she continued her ministry studies at Upperroom School of Ministry, where she deepened her relationship with Jesus and was equipped for ministry. After graduating from Upperroom, she attended Forerunner Ministry School at Jesus Is Here Church, where she remains an active member and continues to serve faithfully.

Christy Campos lives in Aubrey, Texas, with her husband and son.

Nancy Alvarez is a former public school teacher and principal who answered God’s call to full-time intercessory ministry in 2026. With a heart for prayer, discipleship, and seeing lives transformed through the power of God, Nancy regularly leads women’s prayer groups and teaches the Word of God. She also serves with a local ministry that ministers to women in the sex industry in the Dallas area.

Nancy is passionate about equipping believers to become effective intercessors who stand in the gap for others and partner with God in His desire to see His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Nancy lives in McKinney, Texas, with her husband and has 5 adult children and 5 grandchildren.
